Insurance and payment
Yes, we can settle directly with most insurance companies. This means you only pay the deductible and the insurance company pays the rest directly to us. An administrative fee of 200 SEK applies.
You need to have your pet's insurance number available. Inform the staff on arrival that you want to use direct settlement.
Surgery and anesthesia
Dogs and cats should fast for 6 hours before anesthesia. A small portion of food close to fasting time is okay, and water is fine until the visit. Rabbits and small animals should NOT fast – bring their usual food.
For most routine operations, your pet can go home the same day once it has properly woken up from anesthesia. For more extensive procedures, overnight observation may be needed.
Yes, we always provide adequate pain relief before, during and after surgery. You will take home pain medication and instructions on how to give it.
Dental care
Signs of dental problems include bad breath, difficulty eating, drooling, red or swollen gums, and visible tartar. Annual dental check-ups are recommended.
A simple dental examination can often be done without anesthesia. However, for professional teeth cleaning and X-rays, anesthesia is required for a thorough examination and treatment.
Professional teeth cleaning including anesthesia and full mouth X-ray costs 5,770 SEK for dogs and 4,400 SEK for cats. See our price list for more information.
